And just because I was on a roll today... while re-designing my Wales OC (into a guy), I randomly sketched this on the side.

Yes, it's my OC of Scotland. I figured I'd post this up too and list some of his character facts like I did with my chibi Wales and Ireland pics (yet neglected to do for Scotland when I posted his chibi pic up x_x )

Hmm.. let's see....

Random Facts About My Scotland OC (for any that care to know XD )

1) Fiercely proud and independent by nature, Scotland is also one of the friendliest people you could meet (unless you're England), but if someone gets him angry, prepare to watch furniture, vehicles, cabers, animals, etc fly.

2) He can't remember a good one thousand year's worth of memories. The days when he was 'Pictland' are all but lost to him (a reflection of actual, in real life knowledge, or lack of knowledge, regarding the kingdom of Pictland, the Picts and how they lived)

3) Ever since he can remember, he's made it his policy to make friends with other nations instead of trying to make enemies out of them. England constantly invading him was more than enough for Scotland, he didn't need other nations trying to invade him as well. As such, he's always been on good terms with France, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands.

4) He bears a scar across his chest, right over his heart and there is a corresponding scar on his back as well.

5) Whisky is his favorite drink, followed by tea and coffee after that.

6) He has a thing for butter. His cakes and biscuits are usually very buttery and fattening, and his sweets would give a diabetic a heart attack if they saw how much sugar he puts in them.

7) For all the whisky he drinks and all the fatty biscuits (short bread) he eats, Scotland does take good care of his body and makes sure to work off the calories (and sleep off the whisky induced hangovers). He's gotten far more active now than before due to a certain Nordic nation's influences.

8) His first friend was Norway whom he originally fought against back in the 1200s. When the short-lived war ended in the late 1260s, the Norwegian and Scottish monarchies were married and subsequently, having made peace with each other, Scotland and Norway became friends.

9) Though he's in a union now and has been since 1707, Scotland dreams of the day when he'll regain his independence. Rumor has it, he's planning to apply to become the sixth Nordic nation.

10) Although he owns them, the islands of Shetland and Orkney used to be Norway's property; thus the Shetlanders and Orcadians are rather fond of Norway and Norwegians. Scotland doesn't seem to mind and even encourages the islanders to embrace and celebrate their Norse ancestary.
